More Details:
At this archipelago of 6000 islands, with a thriving spice trade that reached lands as far as Europe, China and the Middle East and migration from its neighbours across Asia over centuries, you will experience a culinary experience that both reflects the people that graced this land and the unique culture that arose from this melting pot like no other.
You are probably already familiar with some of Indonesia's most famous dishes, such as the Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Mee Goreng (fried noodles), Gado Gado (vegetables in peanut sauce), Beef Rendang (beef curry) and Sate/Satay (skewered meat). But what you will be surprised is the variety of places and ways in which these dishes are served in Indonesia. You will find them on street side hawker stalls, vendors on bikes and carts, markets and restaurants, where you'll be offered chopsticks, knife and fork and in some locales, even a bowl of water with lime for you to eat with your bare hands. In Indonesia, the sensory of experience certainly goes well beyond the food.
At Asian Home Gourmet, we aim to deliver the same sensory experience to you with a range of products featuring some of Indonesian cuisine's most well loved recipes. With Asian Home Gourmet's range of Indonesian products, bringing the delights of Indonesian cuisine into your home has never been easier.
