The Chenin Blanc is another stunning value wine from the ever consistent Cape Heights vineyard. This wine is also IWC Silver-winning! This is a fresh, dry Chenin with broad appeal displaying classic baked apple and zippy citrus aromas with soft, delicate apple fruit on the palate well balanced by crisp acidity. Extended lees contact gives this great value wine some real weight and character. It makes a great partner to grilled fish, chicken and salads.

In The Vineyard
Vines are mostly old bush vines (average age between 20-30 years), planted at a density of approx 3700/ha. Soils are deep red Paardeberg soil. No irrigation is used on the vineyards and very little crop control is needed due to the age of the vines naturally restricting yield. All grapes are harvested by hand.

In The Winery
Produced only from free run juice and fermented on the skins in stainless steel tanks. The wine is left on the fine lees for an extended period for greater palate weight and mouthfeel.
