For adults and kids 12 years old +, use 2 teaspoonsful (10 mL) per dose. For kids 6 - 11 years old, use 1 teaspoonful (5mL) per dose. For those below 6 years old, please consult a doctor. Repeat every 6 to 8 hours as needed but no more than 4 doses a day.
It is advisable to follow the recommended dosage guideline stated in pack. Please seek medical attention immediately if patient is overdosed. Do not use in persistent/chronic cough that occurs with smoking, emphysema, asthma or if the cough is accompanied with excessive mucous. Do not take without asking a doctor if you take prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitors or within two weeks after stopping the use of such drugs.
