Originally from Asia, cedrat was the first citrus fruit to reach the shores of Corsica, France. The Cedrat extract derived from the pulp was coveted for its skin-energizing properties. To this day, L'Occitane continues to harvest cedrat during the winter months on the island of Corsica at a small, organic cooperative.
