SZECHUAN CLASSIC STIR-FRY (Serves 4)
Ingredients:
• 1 packet Szechuan Classic Stir-Fry Spice Paste
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 250g (1/2 lb) chicken or beef, thinly sliced or minced
• 250g (1/2 lb) mixed vegetables or tofu (bite-sized pieces)
• Spring onion, cut into 1 cm (1/2") pieces as garnish
Cooking Instructions:
• Heat oil in wok or pan on medium heat.
• Add spice paste, stir-fry until fragrant. Add meat, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
• Add vegetables or tofu and stir-fry until meat is cooked and vegetables are tender. Serve hot with rice.
Cooking Tip: For a vegetarian dish, use 565g (1 1/4 lb) combination of cut baby sweet corn, mushrooms and carrots.
